Could this mean Frank's album is indeed on the way? Frank Ocean has essentially been in hiding over the last couple of years, so when he popped up on Calvin Klein's Snapchat, it was a surprise to say the least. The brand announced the stars of its new campaign through the app, revealing that Young Thug would be a part of the ads as well, joining models like Kate Moss and Grace Coddington. Seeing that Frank recently hinted that his album would be out this month, this is certainly a good sign that he's ready to make his comeback.

Young Thug, Kanye West, & Mystikal Reportedly Have A Song On The Way Called “Digits”

According to Thugger's camp, he, Kanye West, & Mystikal have a collab on the way called "Digits" hopefully off "Slime Season 3." As we near closer to this Friday’s Slime Season 3 release, new information about an upcoming collab has surfaced ahead of time. Young Thug’s go-to director, Be El Be, practically confirmed the news Monday night that Young Thug, Kanye West, and Mystikal reportedly have a new song on the way called “Digits.” However, it’s unknown if this collab will see life on Friday’s SS3 or on the upcoming studio album HiTunes. On Monday evening, an associate from Thugger’s camp tweeted out “Young Thug – Digits ft. Kanye West otw” and Be El Be then confirmed the collab by retweeting it with the addition of two words… “And Mystical.” Snippets of the record have surfaced on the ‘net over the last year, and the collab is reportedly being produced by London On Da Track. If all is true, this wouldn't be Thugger & Kanye's first time working together. The two are coming off their latest collab “Highlights” from Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo album, which earned them a performance on SNL last month.

Rich Homie Quan Says Young Thug Is Still His Best Friend

Even though Thug dissed him at a recent show, Rich Homie Quan has still got love for his former Rich Gang partner. And he intends to prove it on an upcoming track. During a recent concert, before dropping "Lifestyle," still the biggest hit to his name, Young Thugshouted, "Hey, fuck Rich Homie!" -- Rich Homie being the other collaborator on the track, taken off their 2014 joint tape Tha Tour: Part 1, which they released as the duo Rich Gang. Since the dissolution of Rich Gang, Thug has seemed to disown his former partner, but Rich Homie Quan, on the other hand, has no interest in contributing to the bad blood, as evidenced in a new track he's planning to release, which he previewed last night on Instagram. The unreleased track seems to provide Quan's take on the highly scrutinized Rich Gang breakup. "I had to separate myself from Rich Gang," lip syncs Quan as the track plays in the background. "No disrespect to Birdman," he continues. With the next line, Quan confirms that "Thugga Thugga still my BEST FRIEND, BEST FRIEND, BEST FRIEND," perhaps a nod to Thug's big hit off Slime Season. Then again, maybe Quan will drop a "Best Friend" of his own.

Young Thug Reveals Release Date For "Slime Season 3"

Young Thug's does another unique marketing approach to announce the release date for "Slime Season 3." It looks like Young Thug has taken another unique approach for his latest news announcement. A couple weeks ago, Thugger was seen riding around the streets of ATL on horse in support of his upcoming "Hy!£UN35" tour, and now on Friday he did another off-the-wall marketing strategy to promote his upcoming Slime Season 3 project. While down in Austin, Texas for this year’s SXSW Festival, Thugger decided to spray paint a black casket with the SS3 release date, logos, and his YSL apparel line all over it, and have it walk in a funeral procession down Austin’s busy 6th street while being led by a marching band. As expected, the marketing ploy worked, and many bystanders/fans were able to capture pictures of it on social media. As for the Slime Season 3 release date, fans will be happy to hear that it arrives next week, March 25!

Duke Was In The Studio With YG, Young Thug & Nipsey Hussle Last Night

Lil Duke was cooking something up last night with Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle and YG. Now this is a dope collaboration in the making. Last night Lil Duke posted a picture to Instagram showing himself, YG, Young Thug and Nipsey Hussle together in the studio last night. As expected, double cups were in full effect. No word on what the four artists were collaborating on, but Duke captioned the posts on Twitter and Instagram “ITS GONE BE A HOT SUMMER & WINTER.” Sounds like they’ve made more than one banger based from that recording session, but we’ll have to wait and see. YG is currently working on his follow up to My Krazy Life, while Thugger is gearing up for his much-delayed album Hy!£UN35. Lil Duke has been putting out a lot of music as well, so it seems most likely this is something that will appear on a project of his. Of course, Lyor Cohen could throw a wrench in the whole process, as he may have done earlier today with statements that he would “bury” Slime Season 3.

Young Thug Responds To Plies Calling Him A "Lower Tier" Artist

The beef between Plies and Young Thug is back on. A couple of days ago, the beef between Young Thug and The Game was reignited. Today, Thug is back to sparring with another rapper he had issues with last year: Plies. Strangely enough, both of Thug's current beefs involve his young daughter. Thug and Game got back into it by posting pictures of each other's daughters on their Instagram pages, and back in September, his beef with Plies started when the Florida rapper (unknowingly) posted a video clip of Thug's daughter using profanity to his Instagram. Yesterday, Plies was the one to incite Young Thug, when he appeared on Complex's web show "Well Rounded" and called Thugger a "lower tier artist." "I don't play with a certain tier of artists, like you trying to get poppin' and shit," said Plies when asked about the comments Thug made about him last month on Sway (that he might "slap the shit" out of him next time he sees him). "I don't fuck with lower tier artists," concluded the "Ritz Carlton" rapper. When asked why Plies considers Thug to be "lower tier," he referenced Thug's first-week sales, presumably those of his latest project, I'm Up: "Um, you sold, what? Shit, 10-14,000 records the first week. I don't know, you tell me what tier it is."

The Game Reignites Beef With Young Thug: “I Will Beat The Victoria Secret Out That Boy/Girl”

The Game took another shot at Young Thug this week. The on-going beef between Young Thug & The Game continues this week. On Monday, the Los Angeles Confidential decided to take a shot at Thugger Thugger in the comments section of his own Instagram. Starting off with an original picture of The Game looking like Ted with ladies all over him, things quickly turned south after someone commented “you gonna need a Ted when Thugger Thugger catch yo ass!” Obviously catching his attention, The Game didn’t take the comment too lightly and replied "You must be joking... I will beat the Victoria secret out that boy/girl." Thugger has yet to comment, but it’s surely only a matter of time. These two have gone back & forth several times on social media over the past year or so, so this is nothing new. We’ll keep you posted if anymore surfaces.

Kanye West Says Young Thug Is Performing With Him On SNL This Weekend

Kanye West announced Thursday that Young Thug is set to take the stage with him on SNL this weekend. It looks like Kanye West won’t be alone when he takes the stage on SNL this weekend. According to Ye, he will be accompanied by non-other than Mr. Yeezy 3 model himself, Young Thug. Announced during the Yeezy 3 show at Madison Square Garden Thursday afternoon, Kanye revealed that Thugger would be taking to the stage with him to perform their new collab “Highlights,” off The Life Of Pablo. The announcement was just one of many new things that we found out about during the Yeezy 3 show, including Kanye’s new video game for his mother, and that he just signed buzzing NYC rapper, Desiigner, to G.O.O.D. According to Young Thug, he and Kanye West have recorded 40 songs together. Following up his visit at Sway’s Morning Show earlier this week, Young Thug decided to stop by the Power 105 studios and chop it up with queen of NYC airwaves, Angie Martinez, for another rare, but very informative interview. Sitting down for over 30 minutes (with Lyor Cohen by his side), Thugger talked about the Lil Wayne bus shooting (again), beefing with Plies over video of his daughter, upcoming projects, including SS3, an 8-song EP that’s on the way, and more. But what really caught our attention was Thugger’s work with Kanye West, which he couldn’t talk too much about due to papers he signed from ‘Ye, but did announce that they’ve recorded about forty songs together. Young Thug Might Be On Kanye West's "SWISH"

It looks like Young Thug may have made the final cut. Ty Dolla $ign, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper... Young Thug? The fallout of the release of the SWISH tracklist has produced evidence strongly suggesting that Chance the Rapper will be the next artist to be featured in Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Friday series. The tracklist also caught the attention of Young Thug's go-to music video director Be El Be, who speculated in since-deleted tweets that Thug may have made the album's final cut. "Hold up," he wrote. "Now that I think about it... WE ARE ON THIS... I remember the song title b/c I wrote it down, I think... I have it written down in my phone.. I just know the song wasn't really done. But thug re sang the hook and added a verse." Be El Be did NOT delete his tweet assuring his followers that Thug will respond to rumors that Slime Season 3 is dropping today. Given that Thug wrote "SS3 SOON I PROMISE" two weeks ago, don't be surprised if he establishes a release date.

Danny Brown Hints At New Album, Lists Favorite Projects From Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar & Young Thug

The rapper also gives an update on his upcoming follow-up to "OLD". Danny Brown has been quiet for a minute, but it seems he may have something big planned for 2016. The rapper, whose last project was 2013's two-faced opus, OLD, granted fans a Q&A on Twitter, answering questions both as an artist and a fan. The rapper hinted at a new album, which he seemed to be preparing to promote sometime soon. He also confirmed that the structure of the project would be much different from the two very distinct sides of OLD, promising the album is "all fucked up" in terms of sequencing. Danny also answered some questions about his favorite albums from a few different artist, reporting that his go-to Ye albums are Late Registration and Yeezus, while he prefers Section.80 to Kendrick Lamar's other work. As for Young Thug, who Brown has been praising for a while now, he picked early fan favorite I Came From Nothing 2 as the rapper's best. Always having his ear to other genres, Danny named Sufjan Stevens' tribute to his parents, Carrie & Lowell and Natalie Prass' self-titled album as his top picks for 2015, going on to praise Sufjan's very personal songwriting. Adrien Broner Defends Young Thug Against Gay Accusations

The champion boxer says he and Thug have been with some of the same women. Adrien Broner, the boxer who has held world titles in 4 different weight classes, seems to have certain ties to the Atlanta rap scene. In a fight last month, Broner was escorted into the ring by Migos, and over a year before that, Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug accompanied him out of the gates to provide his entrance music. In a new interview with VladTV, Broner was asked about the latter Rich Gang member, specifically about Thug's decision to wear women's clothes as well as other "stunts" the Slime Season rapper has pulled that have caused outsiders to question his sexuality. "Young Thug ain't gay. He's actually one of the thoroughest n*ggas out hear, that I hear...he just got a different language, a different understanding with his self," said Broner, before going on to reveal that he and Thug have "messed with some of the same women before." The boxer was then asked about why Thug seems to deliberately invite people to question his sexuality, which prompted him to respond adamantly, "Listen to me: Young Thug is a marketing genius. And he got you. He definitely got you. And in some ways I look up to him for that."

Young Thug Maintains That He & Lil Wayne Have No Problems

Young Thug says he has nothing but admiration for Lil Wayne. Young Thug is the subject of Jon Caramanica's New York Times profile, and as usual, he is a man of few words. While it only contains three or four short quotes from the rapper, the piece illustrates Young Thug's daily routine and the genius of his writing process quite well, and when he does get to talking, he's not afraid to answer the hard questions. The standout quote from the interview comes when the Lil Wayne bus shooting in Atlanta -- an incident which Thug's name has been loosely attached to -- is brought up. “I got millions to get, I’m not running around shooting no damn bus,” he said, once again enforcing that he and Wayne are not beefing in any way. “I’m not just being lame or trying to do something smooth. I told the whole world you my idol, and whenever you stop I’m gonna keep going... Both of us grew up the same thing, the same gang man — Y.M.C.M.B. Why should you ever in your life even feel like we against each other? The last we heard from Wayne, he had similar feelings about the "feud". Can we now finally put things to rest?

Young Thug Doesn't Mind Being Called Gay

In the States, it's hard to get a word out of Young Thug in an interview, but he has been much more revealing to the press while in Europe, giving highly entertaining interviews to Tim Westwood as well as the French online magazine Clique. Thugger is now the subject of an editorial profile in The Guardian, and it, too, features some memorable quotes from the unique Atlanta slime. The interview doesn't touch on Birdman, Lil Wayne, or Thugger's affiliation with either of them, as Thug's publicist disallowed the interviewer from breaching those topics -- take from that what you will. Instead, Thug discusses how his career has changed since the raw bedroom recordings of I Came From Nothing to his recent playful feature on the indie dance anthem, "Good Times," by U.K. producer Jamie xx. "I mean, we still do it the same way, but it's less gangster, you know what I'm saying? More white motherfuckers and important motherfuckers. There's less gangsters, less drugs. I have a girlfriend now, so no girls. I think all of those things make me more of an artist, though. If I didn't have a girlfriend, I'd have 10 girls at the studio and they would make me not rap. I'd be chilling and getting stoned." He also spoke on the widespread hate, mostly via angry commenters on social media, he's received for his experimental approach to both fashion and music. As he's clarified before, it doesn't bother him -- the opposite, even: "I like everything that people say. No matter what they say. You gay, you a punk. You got a nice girlfriend, you're ugly, you can't rap, you're the hardest." As for why he's so beloved in Europe: "Because you're from Atlanta, Georgia, and you're dressed like a fucking European. Of course," said Thug.
