Now that his deal with Apple Music is in the bag, it looks like Travis Scott’s long-awaited new album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, is finally ready to see the light of day. On Tuesday night in NYC, Travis was performing a show at the Ford Amphitheatre in Coney Island where he decided to announce to the crowd the release date to his highly anticipated album. According to Travis, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight will be dropping August 5th, which happens to be next Friday. The album will be released via Apple Music and feature the lead single “Pick Up The Phone” with Young Thug & Quavo. However, Scott pulled through, moving a solid 74,941 copies of his LP, with streams beefing that number up to 90,940. Even with the numbers, Scott was only able to slide in at number 3, behind Five Finger Death Punch, and impressively, The Weeknd, who has kept the top spot for a second consecutive week, selling 142,392 copies of BBTM with streams.
