Kevin Gates Announces "Murder For Hire 2" Mixtape

Kevin Gates is prepping the sequel to last year's "Murder For Hire" mixtape with DJ Holiday. It looks like fans can start to look forward to an upcoming mixtape from Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates. On Wednesday night, the “2 Phones” rapper revealed that “they,” aka his label, won’t allow him to release another album until next February so he’s going to give his fans the sequel to his Murder For Hire mixtape with DJ Holiday in the meantime. Unfortunately he didn’t reveal any time frame or details on the upcoming tape, but it looks to be currently in the works. He tweeted, “There not allowing me to release another album until Feb - fuck it murder for hire 2.” We’ll continue to keep you posted once more information surfaces. Kevin Gates Could Be Charged For Kicking A Female Fan In Florida

Police are reportedly looking into the footage of Kevin Gates kicking a female audience member during his show in Lakeland, Florida. Despite releasing a string of strong projects over the last few years, Kevin Gates has continued to draw attention to himself for the wrong reasons. Most recently, footage of the Baton Rouge rapper kicking a female fan at a Florida show made its way online. The clip showed a woman playfully tug on Gates' shorts, causing the rapper to forcefully kick her in retaliation. According to TMZ, the woman went to the hospital following injuries to her mid-section. The gossip site also reports that police have opened an investigation on the incident, with Lakeland authorities working alongside the State Attorney's office to possibly pin charges on Gates.
