Montana Of 300 Explains Slim Jesus Collaboration

Montana of 300 explains why he plans to collaborate with Slim Jesus. The Slim Jesus movement has been met its with fair share of hate, and that's putting it kindly. He recently told us that he's been the target of over 500 diss tracks. The usual charge against him is that he has no right to be rapping about the Chiraq lifestyle when he comes from a very different town: Hamilton, Ohio. Funnily enough, Jesus has received cosigns from many of the finest drill artists in Chicago. Such rappers include Chief Keef, Lil Bibby, Lil Herb, and Montana of 300, who has a feature on an upcoming Jesus track. During a recent interview with VladTV, Montana provided an insightful response to all the controversy surrounding his decision to collaborate with the 18-year-old rapper. Montana first explained how he's not into gang banging and how he thinks Jesus might be telling more truths than a lot of rappers out there. Montana compared Jesus not living the life about which he raps to seeing his own white fans chant Montana lyrics at concerts. He sees authenticity in Jesus simply for being himself. Slim Jesus included a Montana lyric, "let that 40 bang," in "Drill Time," his breakout hit. Montana didn't see that as an offense; instead, he responded to fans asking for a collab by hitting up Jesus on Twitter. The song hasn't been recorded yet, but Montana confirmed that they're setting it up soon.

The Game Advices Slim Jesus To Be Careful; Says "He's Gonna Get His Ass Smoked”

The Game opens up about the internet's Slim Jesus, says "he's gonna get his ass smoked." Slim Jesus, a scrawny 19-year old white rapper from Hamilton, Ohio, took the internet by storm a few weeks back when he released “Drill Time,” a video that finds him flaunting guns, promoting street violence, & even referencing killing people. Since the release of this awkward video (which you can watch here), Slim Jesus has been the topic of several conversations across the industry, and earlier this week The Game, someone who knows a thing or two ‘bout that lifestyle, was asked to his voice his opinion on the new rapper. Speaking briefly with Complex, The Game says he original thought Slim Jesus was cool & dope. He says "I thought it was dope. I was like, 'Shit, there's a White boy with fucking guns and he's ready to fucking kill shit." However, once The Game found out Slim Jesus wasn’t really about that lifestyle, as he explained to Vlad TV in a following interview, his opinion of him quickly changed. The Game says he worries that video might come back to haunt him. "I think that Slim Jesus either really better be fucking killing or he's gonna get his ass smoked," The Game says. "I worry about kids these days rapping about things that they're not really about." Later, The Game went on to say that Slim’s in a tricky situation that could turn south. The game advises when playing those type of games in the streets, lives could be lost, so tread lightly. "Sometimes I think it's sad because lives can be lost when playing those games," The Game says. "Be careful, Slim Jesus."

Slim Jesus Says He Won't Actually Shoot You If You're Lackin'

Slim Jesus says he doesn't live the criminal lifestyle he depicts in "Drill Time." Slim Jesus' "Drill Time" video briefly took the internet by storm last week, skyrocketing from a measly 15,000 views to over a million in about 24 hours. The video shows the 18-year old rapper rapping such bars as "I got a big 40 with a thirty-clip, and I call that bitch my fuckin' mop" and waving a gun around and aiming it menacingly at the camera. But in a new interview with VladTV, young Slim said he isn't all the video makes him out to be. "I'm not out here catching bodies and shit, obviously. Like, I'm fucking smart," he said. "I realize that if you got an opportunity to get out of a spot, you shouldn't, you know, be fucking around and catching bodies and shit." He said that his hometown Hamilton, Ohio, a few hours south of Chicago, used to be known as "little Chicago" due to the large influx of Chi-City gangsters who had second homes there back in the day. He told Vlad that he has no criminal record and has never been shot at. He's not tryna act like as if that was the case, he is just a humble rapper trying to get his career off the ground. "I make music," he said. "Granted, I hang out with people, but that doesn't mean that I'm out here doing some shit tryna ruin what I got going."

Lil Bibby Defends Slim Jesus Against Haters

Lil Bibby doesn't understand why "Drill Time" rapper Slim Jesus is receiving so much hate. Slim Jesus is the latest viral rap sensation, and it's easy to see why -- for one, he's named Slim Jesus. It's also not every day you see a white teenager from Ohio making drill music. Though Slim is apparently 18, he looks about 13, and seeing him and his similarly young looking crew toting heavy artillery in the "Drill Time" music video is pretty shocking. As you might expect, the viral video has caused some controversy. Chicago rapper Lil Mister has released a diss track aimed at Jesus in which he raps over "Drill Time" and accuses Jesus of biting Chief Keef's sound. The latest Jesus diss, which has also gone viral, came from Ben Sommers, a white rapper from Tulsa, Oklahoma. On "Shots at Slim," Sommers accuses Jesus of using BB guns in the "Drill Time" video.
