Afeni Shakur's Husband Wants Part Of The Tupac Estate For Alimony
Afeni Shakur does not want her soon to be ex-husband to get any alimony from the Tupac Estate.
Part of Tupac Shakur’s estate may end up as part of a divorce settlement, as Tupac Shakur’s mother Afeni Shakur is currently embroiled in a divorce with her husband Gust Davis. They have been married for 12 years but have been living apart for over a year.
TMZ reported details of the suit, including exactly how much the family makes and what Davis wants in the divorce. The Tupac Estate currently brings in roughly $900,000 a year, but after expenses & taxes that number is more like $20,000. Davis wants half of that monthly total for the rest of his life, as well as possession of his Jaguar and a 50 acre North Carolina ranch that the two purchased when they were still on good terms.
It’s up to a judge to decide how the assets will be divided, but Afeni has filed to block the alimony request. However, for some reason the couple didn’t sign a prenup before they got married, which is not good news for Afeni Shakur. Just goes to show, you don’t have to be female to be a gold digger.
